I’m writing this on May 16, when Aroostook County roadways are covered with snow. It’s not just snowing. The roadways are covered with wet, slippery snow. This will be one of our worst driving days.
The state mandates that we take off our studded snow tires by May 1. We need a bifurcated law pertaining to studded snow tires in Maine.
Everyone can stop arguing about whether or not there are two Maines. Today, there is no denying it.
