Gallery 302 is pleased to have Roland Simard as its first guest artist of the season. His paper landscapes of all natural materials will be on display from May 21 until June 17.  Simard will give a demonstration of his creative process beginning at 4:15 p.m. Friday, June 3, followed by a reception from 5-7 p.m. Simard
Roland processes natural materials such as alpaca and cotton in a paper beater, then makes colored images with the pulp. The pulp remains in the water during the entire process allowing the fibers to interweave to form an entire sheet. Gallery 302 is an artist cooperative located at 112 Main St., Bridgton.
