Tim Gruber of Brunswick wins L.L. Bean 10K

Chris Harmon of Portland is second, and Erica Jesseman of Scarborough is second among women in the annual Fourth of July road race.

Tim Gruber of Brunswick won the annual L.L. Bean 10K road race in Freeport on Monday morning.

Gruber led a field of more than 1,100 finishers in 32 minutes, 57 seconds. Chris Harmon of Portland was second in 33:27.

Alexis Wilbert of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was first among the women’s runners in 35:17. Erica Jesseman of Scarborough was second in 35:47. They finished seventh and eighth overall.
