BIDDEFORD — Janice M. Beking, 63, of Biddeford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born in Long Beach, California, on Sept. 21, 1952, a daughter of Harland and Priscilla (Church) Johnson.

Janice was a homemaker whose family was her life. She was the caregiver for her mother and sister, inspired her grandchildren and would do anything in support of her family.

She had a great love of animals, enjoyed music and wrestling, and loved a nice day to go shopping.

Janice also worked and volunteered for the Salvation Army, always helping others.

She is survived by: her mother, Priscilla Johnson; her husband of 32 years, Thomas Beking; five children David Lestage and his girlfriend Stephanie Raymond, Richard Lestage and his wife Kim, Mitchell Lestage and his wife Crystal, Thomas Beking Jr., and Tammy Lapointe and her husband Michael. She is also survived by: 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Melanie Tibbetts, Madeline Luger and Kathleen Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and many adopted family members.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco.
