BIDDEFORD — Marie Lucille O’Toole, 68, of Biddeford, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, July 29, 2016.

She was born in Biddeford on Nov. 15, 1947, the daughter of Conrad and Juliette (Henaire) Gagne.

She worked in area hotels managing their cleaning divisions. She was truly a giving person who would open the doors of her home to anyone who needed a place to stay.

During the Persian Gulf War, she was given a citation from the Army for her generous support in aiding the families of the soldiers who were serving their country, many alongside her husband, Peter. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, Roger; and three sisters, Mary Jane, Shirley and Margaret Ann.

She is survived by: her husband of 45 years, Peter O’Toole; two sons, Shane and his wife Tina, and Shawn; three grandchildren, Julianna, Arriana and Jade; her niece Shirley and nephew Richard; and other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
