My mom was a teacher. She would occasionally talk about “The Marching Morons.” I just realized it’s a science-fiction story (about a future society in which the median IQ has dropped to 46). When 9/11 happened she was already gone, and I knew if she had been alive, she would have been very sad.
The morning of Nov. 9 was the first time I was thankful my mom was dead. We keep building the military, giving religion a free ride on taxation and imprisoning thousands of people.
The marching morons have elected their president. I know it is doubtful you will print this, but we need to have educated masses, and this election proves that Bernie Sanders should have been the Democratic candidate.
