UNCASVILLE, Conn. — Top-ranked Duke bounced back from its loss to Kansas by beating Penn State, but watched another player go down with an injury.

Freshman Frank Jackson led five players in double figures with 17 points and Amile Jefferson added 16 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Blue Devils (3-1) to a 78-68 win Saturday in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off tournament.

Sophomore Chase Jeter rolled his left ankle in the first half and didn’t return.

Tony Carr had 20 points and Shep Garner added 15 to lead Penn State (2-2).

Jeter went down under the Penn State basket while going for a rebound. The 6-foot-10 sophomore was on the floor for several minutes before being helped off the court. His injury came minutes after Grayson Allen left the game, favoring the right foot he hurt in the recent loss to Kansas.

(6) INDIANA 87, LIBERTY 48: James Blackmon Jr. made five 3-pointers and had 20 points to help Indiana (3-0) rout Liberty (1-2) at Bloomington, Indiana.

(17) ST. MARY’S 61, DAYTON 57: Jock Landale scored 15 points off moves to the basket and Calvin Hermanson had 16 points from the perimeter as the Gaels (3-0) beat the Flyers (2-1) in Dayton, Ohio.

The Gaels led the whole way, pulling ahead by 20 points midway through the second half and holding off a late Dayton rally.

(21) RHODE ISLAND 76, (24) CINCINNATI 71: E.C. Matthews hit two late 3-pointers and finished with 18 points in the Rams (4-0) comeback victory over the Bearcats (2-1) in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament in Asville, Connecticut.

(5) LOUISVILLE 83, BOWLING GREEN 58: Asia Durr scored a career-high 34 points in less than three quarters as the Cardinals (4-0) beat the Falcons (0-3) in Louisville, Kentucky.

(7) OHIO STATE 113, LIU BROOKLYN 54: Sierra Calhoun scored 22 points and Kelsey Mitchell added 21 as the Buckeyes (3-1) routed the Blackbirds (0-3) in Columbus, Ohio.

(19) FLORIDA 83, TEMPLE 76: Eleanna Christinaki scored 13 of her 21 points and Haley Lorenzen 10 of her 19 in the fourth quarter when the Gators (3-0) rallied to beat the Owls (2-1) in Ocala, Florida.

MARQUETTE 75, (18) ARIZONA STATE 63: Natisha Hiedeman hit five 3-pointers and scored 23 points and the Golden Eagles (3-0) upset the Sun Devils (2-1) in Milwaukee.

(21) WEST VIRGINIA 69, COPPIN STATE 39: Tynice Martin scored 19 points and Katrina Pardee added 17 to lead the Mountaineers (3-0) to a 69-39 win over the Eagles (0-4) in Morgantown, West Virginia.

WESTERN KENTUCKY 85, (23) INDIANA 74: Tashia Brown scored 22 of her 28 points in the second half and the Hilltoppers (2-1) upset the Hoosiers (3-1) in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
