I recently went to my primary care physician twice regarding an issue that has been irritating me for some time. My doctor tried one fix on the first visit that was not effective.

On the second visit, he was going to try another remedy, hoping that it would help. He wrote a prescription for me.

Well, that prescription needed prior authorization through my medical insurance company, which denied it. My doctor appealed that decision, and it was again denied.

Some doctor who is apparently paid by my medical insurance provider and does not know me or my medical history decided that I did not need what my primary care physician had prescribed. Wow! That doctor is absolutely brilliant!
