TRENTON, N.J. — The Trenton Thunder used a three-run fourth inning Friday night to take control and hand the Portland Sea Dogs their third straight loss, 4-1 at Arm & Hammer Park.

The Sea Dogs are 5-3.

Portland scored in the third when Danny Mars lined a one-out triple to right and Aneury Tavarez drove him home with a sacrifice fly.

The Thunder grabbed the lead for good in the fourth. Rashad Crawford led off with a double to right, Gleyber Torres reached on an infield error and Mike Ford blasted a two-run triple. Billy McKinney then added an RBI double.

Mars finished 3 for 3 for Portland with a stolen base.
