UPDATE: Town Administrator Jennifer Roux at 3 a.m. today reported Chris Grecco has been found safe and has been reunited with his family. No further details were available.
ACTON  – A search for a  5- year-old boy who  became separated from a group
of relatives hiking along a trail  off  Hussey Hill Road on Sunday continued late into the evening.
Maine Public Safety sokesman Steve McCausland in a 10:15 p.m. statement  said  Chris
Grecco became separated from his family members around 6:30 p.m.
 
More than two dozen Maine State Police, York County Sheriff’s deputies, Maine Wardens and Acton Fire and Rescue personnel are engaged in the search. They are using the Acton Public Safety building as a base of operations.
Grecco, who  is 4 feet tall,  has brown hair and eyes. He is  is wearing a gray coat
with a hood, a blue shirt and blue jeans.  Anyone seeing the boy
should call Maine  State Police in Gray at  657-3030.
