OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Richard Thomas Williams “Dickie Dola” was born on March 31, 1980.

He was raised and educated in Saco, Maine. He became an entrepreneur at a young age and embraced the challenges and experiences of owning his own business, Williams Brothers Paving.

Together with his high school sweetheart, Danielle Goulet Williams, they began a full and wonderful life together with their three children Luke, Richie, and Michael. His greatest accomplishment was these three boys, wanting nothing more than to experience their personal growth.

His expression of love for his wife, and children was palpable. Although we are heartbroken and feel a great absence, we hold dearly each and every moment we had with this incredible human being. He touched many lives with his generous and endlessly compassionate heart.

He wished to be remembered for his integrity, and his strong character. He reminded us to “love life and always put our best foot forward every single day.”

He fought a valiant fight with cancer that ended at the age of 37 on June 2, 2017.

He is the proud son of William and Charlotte Williams, the son-in-law of Bradley Goulet and Lynda LeBlanc.

He is the adoring brother of Bella Cooper, William Williams, and Mark Williams. He expressed so much endless love for all his friends and family for a beautiful and great life.

Lives touched by this wonderful man are invited to Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005, between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10. A service will be held at The Landing, Scarborough at 10 a.m. on Sunday, June 11.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to TD Bank for the Williams Strong children educational fund.
