AUBURN
Eli Ouellette tripled twice and doubled to lead Post 202 of Topsham to a 13-8 victory in Junior American Legion baseball action on Sunday over Rogers Post of Auburn.
Post 202 improved to 7-4 and visits Cheverus for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
Devin Tobin and Trevor Brown combined on the mound for Post 202 on seven strikeouts and six walks.
Kyle Secone was 3-for-4 in the win, while Isaiah Cogswell had two hits. Tobin chipped in a double and two runs scored.
Derek Wolverton was 2- for-4 with a pair of runs scored for Auburn.
On Friday at Cape Elizabeth, Post 202 scored six runs in the seventh to pull away for a 17-9 victory over Cape.
Tobin singled, tripled and scored three runs, while Cogswell had a single, double, two walks and scored three times. Esa Hodgsdon tripled, Brady Mitchell and Isaak Flaming each singled and scored multiple runs, and Ouellette singled twice, walked three times and picked up three runs.
Ben Freeman and Coenradt Taylor combined on the mound for seven hits, seven strikeouts and eight walks.
Cole Hoffman singled three times for Cape Elizabeth.
