OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Old Orchard Beach High School graduating senior Kayla White is a receipt of the Spirit of Service Scholarship for OOB.

Sen. Justin Chenette, is president of the Saco Bay Center for Civic Engagement and started the scholarship to encourage a new generation of service-orientated leaders.

Kayla completed close to 300 hours of community service prior to her graduation which made her stand out from her peers. She will be attending Fisher College in Boston majoring in Criminal Justice.
