SACO — Robert “Bobby” Mansur, 71, of Saco, passed away late Monday evening on Aug. 7, 2017, at home.

He was born in Biddeford on May 8, 1946, a son of Carl and Theresa (Pageau) Mansur.

Bobby graduated from Thornton Academy and served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He was self-employed as a painter and carpenter though out southern Maine for many years.

His hobbies were collecting sports cards and following local and professional sports. He was a fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins.

Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by: by one sister, Gail Rier.

He is survived by: two children, Karla Mansur Didonato and her husband, Nicolas, Matt Mansur and his wife, Vanessa ;and four grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklyn, Hudson and Harrison. He is also survived by: his aunt, Gabby and uncle, Richard Plamondon; and nieces Debbie and Shirley.

Visiting hours will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, with a funeral Sservice at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, Saco.
