BIDDEFORD — Jacqueline Hebert, 81, of Biddeford died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017 at home with her family by her side.

She was born on Dec. 19, 1935 to Rodolphe and Alphosine (Parent) Parenteau in Biddeford and was educated in Biddeford schools.

On Nov. 9, 1956, she married Adrien “Tatoo” Hebert at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. They spent 49 years together until his death on Jan. 21, 2005.

She worked in the mills for over 35 years, and then went to Bayview Convent where she worked in the kitchen. She made many great long lasting friendships wherever she worked. She retired from Bay View after 17 years in 1997. She enjoyed playing cards and dice with family and friends, and loved watching Law and Order and her favorite game show Family Feud. Above all else, she loved her family and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them.

She is preceded in death by several siblings.

Jacqueline is survived by a son, David L. Hebert of Biddeford; three daughters, Sandra Carnegie and her husband David III of Biddeford, Joyce Salib and her husband Paul of Norfolk, Virginia and Lisa Hebert of Biddeford; five grandchildren, David, Derek, Deanna, Amanda and Sarah; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews

There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements by Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
