BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford girls soccer team fell 10-1 to visiting Scarborough on Saturday morning at Waterhouse Field.

Scarborough’s Gabby Panagakos led the Red Storm with four goals while Molly Murnane and Ashley Sabatino each scored a pair. Lauren Sabatino and Lizzy Flanders scored one goal each.

Biddeford’s lone goal came from Ailiana Keely and was assisted by Serena Speight. Jillian Lewis and Molly Scott combined for 18 saves in the Biddeford net.


The Warriors continued to roll on Saturday, topping Fryeburg Academy 3-0.

Hannah Cottis led Wells with three unassisted goals.

The Mustangs pushed past Westbrook 2-1 in overtime on Saturday.

Tied at 1-1 in overtime, James Davenport would send a kick 25 yards and into the goal to secure the in for the Mustangs.

Austin Pierce would put the Blue Blazes ahead in the first half with a goal, assisted by Jean Marc Lohanbdi. Noah Perry would take a pass from Cameron Goodrich to score the tying point early in the second half.

Massabesic’s Joshua Castonguay recorded 18 saves on the day.
