BIDDEFORD — The owner of a longtime popular Biddeford submarine sandwich shop was found dead at his business on Thursday morning.

Police were called to the S & S Sub Shop at 69 Jefferson St. in  Biddeford around 10 a.m., said Biddeford Chief of Police Roger Beaupre.

He said that officers were called to the scene after the body of Michael Boisvert, S&S Sub Shop owner, was found in the shop.

According to Beaupre, the death was from natural causes and Boisvert had been in poor health recently.
