BIDDEFIORD — Robert Larose, 81, of Biddeford, passed away late Tuesday morning on Nov. 14, 2017, at Southern Maine Health Care.

He was born in Biddeford on July 6, 1936, a son of Robert and Marion (Owens) Larose.

Robert served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was employed by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for over 25 years, retiring during the 1990s.

Robert was an avid bowler and enjoyed pool. He was a member of the Biddeford Amvets and the Biddeford and Saco Eagles.

His main focus was his family. He had a great love for his seven girls, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He cherished the time he spent with them. He will be sadly missed by many and will remain forever in our hearts. The family has created wonderful memories that they will hold on to for many generations to come.

He was predeceased by his wife Janice E. (Hanusek) Larose on March 9, 2006.

He is survived by his seven daughters, Sonja Lafayette and her husband Dana, Rhonda Williams and her husband Frank, Monica Larose, Andrea Parent and her husband Eric, Angela Danis and her husband David, Lisa Larose, and Dina Poirier and her husband Marcel. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Priscilla Chadbourne and Debbie Nielson and her husband Harry; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
