Colleagues remember Diane as having a fervent commitment to excellence, a spirited enthusiasm for teaching that benefited the entire school community. Literature was an integral part of all of her courses — with Diane, you didn’t just “read” a book, you analyzed it. This characteristic allowed her students to see the real meaning of literature. This was her gift to her students.
All of her family and friends will remember Diane as a model mother and strong woman. They will never forget her caring and helpful nature and all the laughs we shared with her. Diane was a genuine friend to everybody …. she had the capacity to earn the trust of anyone. It was her sincerity, honesty and immense love for people that earned her that title …. no one ever forgot this exceptional strength of character she had. We were blessed to learn very valuable lessons from her and was loved by all who knew her.
