YORK COUNTY – Post Offices across the county and in Maine are closed today, Feb. 19 in celebration of President’s Day.

U.S. Postal Service offices will be closed and only Priority Mail Express and Guaranteed Overnight packages will be delivered.

The USPS 24-hour service kiosks across the county will be available, as will usps.com where visitors can track packages, purchase postage and much more.

Normal delivery and retail operations will resume on Tuesday.

The U.S. Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
