PEOPLE PLUS member Richard Giustra with Wendy Van Damme, executive director of the Cathance River Education Alliance. Giustra coordinates the weekly Winter Outing Group at People Plus. Van Damme introduced the group to the public CREA trail system including a walk on the Barnes Leap Loop. The group was also introduced to the Ecology Center and CREA programs. The People Plus Winter Outing Group plans a different outing every Wednesday morning to explore the local area, get exercise, and get fresh air during the winter months. Starting in April, this club will transform back to the Easy Riders Biking Group that plans weekly bike rides in the community.
