AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS
Diversified Communications recently presented its bi-annual awards – Service Awards and 7Cs Chairperson Award.

The Chairperson’s 7 Cs Award was presented to Madelyn Kearns, editor of Seafoodsource.com.

 

In recognition of their dedication and loyalty to Diversified, the company recognized the following employees for their years of service:
The five-year service award was presented to Jeane Baltzersen, a marketing data analyst; Kate Lyn Knight, a senior content manager; Leanne Walker, a senior research analyst and Joe Zidle, a data analyst.

The 15-year service award was given to Marla Karvonides, an account executive, and Amelie Veegaert, operations team manager.

A 20-year service award was presented to Sheila Bartlett, a payroll manager; Deb Bires, operations project manager; Kim Burnham, account executive; Chris Dimmerling, sales director; Jerry Fraser, group publisher; Ken Hocke, senior editor; Joann Leonard, vice president of operations; Bill Springer, executive vice president, and Brenda Stearns, customer service team manager.

 

 

David Kane, director of administration at the Portland Water District, has been honored with the New England Water Works Association’s Leadership Award.
The award recognizes outstanding leadership and contributions in the water works industry. Kane has more than 27 years of industry leadership experience. Kane is currently the assistant treasurer of New England Water Works Association.
He’s also a founding member of the Maine Water Utilities Financial Officers Group.
