FALMOUTH — Volunteers are needed to help with Falmouth Fest & Old Home Days, one of three signature 300th celebration events to be held this year.
The festival is expected to attract several thousand people to Community Park on May 26, according to Erin Bishop Cadigan, the town’s tercentennial coordinator.
Volunteer opportunities include selling tickets, set-up and clean-up, monitoring children’s crafts and games, overseeing recycling, and helping exhibitors. Shifts run approximately two hours.
“If you have been looking for a way to get involved in the tercentennial, this is an easy and fun way to do it,” said Sandy Couch-Kelly, a member of the Tercentennial Planning Committee.
Volunteers receive free admission to the event as well as a specially designed Falmouth300 T-shirts. Students may also receive service hours for their volunteer participation.
