SACO — Thornton Academy senior Noah Edborg joined an exclusive club on Wednesday afternoon as he scored five times and became just the third TA boys lacrosse player to reach 100 career goals.

Edborg’s big night would help Thornton Academy roll to an 18-2 win over visiting Kennebunk.

TA (7-0) would also get three goals from Tom Levasseur.

Windham 16, Biddeford 10
CJ Thorne scored five goals for Biddeford, but it wouldn’t be enough to lift the Tigers over Windham on Wednesday.
Windham was led by Tommy Lekousi with seven goals and three assists.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Kennebunk 12, Thornton Academy 3
Lily Schwartzman scored four times to help the Rams take down TA on Wednesday.
Kennebunk would also get three goals and one assist from Erin Gorton, and Hallie Schwartzman had two goals and two assists.
Haley Moody stopped nine shots in the cage for Kennebunk.
Adeline Paradis scored all three goals for Thornton.

BASEBALL

Thornton Academy 14, Noble 5
The Trojans would get four hits from Kolby Lambert and Brogan Searle-Belanger added a home run in the win on Wednesday.
Luke Chessie had three RBIs for TA, which also got three hits and two RBIs from Grant Dow.

Old Orchard Beach 5, Lake Region 2
Ryun Hogan and Matt Hurley each had two hits to lead OOB on Wednesday.
Lake Region scored twice in the top of the first, but the Seagulls responded with four runs in the bottom half of the inning.

SOFTBALL

Thornton Academy 12, South Portland 2
Olivia Howe had four RBIs to help Thornton Academy pick up the win on Wednesday.
TA would also get two hits and three runs scored from Kaitlin Verreault.
Louisa Colucci came on in relief and struck out nine in five innings of work for TA.

BOYS TENNIS

Thornton Academy 5, Sanford 0
Caleb Richard and Adam Lovejoy won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0 to lead TA over Sanford on Wednesday.
The Trojans would also get a singles win from Jack Xiao.
Asher Thompson and Jack Cannon won their first doubles match, and the second doubles team of Adam Charbonneau and Charles Qu made it a clean sweep for the Trojans.

GIRLS TENNIS

South Portland 3, Biddeford 2
Tirza Cressey and Taylor McKay picked up singles wins for Biddeford on Wednesday afternoon.
Biddeford’s Megan Gregoire and Julia Pearl dropped a hard-fought 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 match at first doubles, while the Tigers duo of Paige Lessard and Kaylee Perron fell 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 at second doubles.
