KEENE, N.H. — Cordell Dunn drove home three runs for the Keene Swamp Bats in an 11-2 win over the Sanford Mainers in a New England Collegiate Baseball League game Wednesday.

Sanford (18-13) got its runs in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly by Josh Zbierski and a wild pitch.

Keene improved to 20-14.

EMPIRE LEAGUE

SURGE SWEPT: Angel Garced had two hits and scored twice in the first game and drove home a pair of runs in Game 2, helping the Puerto Rico Islanders (18-10) to two wins over the Old Orchard Beach Surge (13-15), 4-3 and 7-3 at The Ballpark.

Michael Gonzalez doubled home the tying and winning runs as the Islanders scored twice in the top of the seventh to win the opener. Quinn Tiernan had two hits and scored a run for the Surge.

Puerto Rico took control of the second game with five runs in the second inning. John Tierney recorded two of OOB’s five hits.

AMERICAN LEGION

POST 86 UNITED 4, COLE POST 3: AJ Eisenhart hit a tying two-run single in the seventh inning, then scored on Gibson Harnett’s bloop single to center as Post 86 United (7-8) walked off with a win against Cole Post in Cumberland.

YANKEE FORD 13, STAPLES CROSSING 5: Riley Hasson had three hits, including a home run, while leading Yankee Ford (15-3) to a win over Staples Crossing (7-9) in South Berwick.

REGENCY MORTGAGE LEAGUE

SOUTH PORTLAND 6, BRUNO’S 1: Noah Driefus rapped a two-run single as South Portland (8-3) snapped a 1-1 tie with four runs in the seventh inning against Bruno’s (10-8), in Portland.

Noah Lewis picked up the win with eight innings of two-hit ball.
