KENNEBUNK — Casto D. (CAS) Leardi, 65, formerly of Paradise, California and Worcester, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME with his devoted wife and caregiver Katherine A. (Laconto-MacGray) Leardi by his side.

Born on Aug. 5, 1952 in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Jean M. (Corazzini) Leardi and the late Domenico A. Leardi.  He is survived by his wife, Katherine, his son, Domenico Leardi, from his former wife, the late Janet (Brown) ; brothers, George E (Gigi) Leardi and Joseph A. Leardi; sisters, Cheryl A. Alano, Bonnie L. Leardi, and Kathleen M. Leardi; and grandchild, Domenico Leardi; many aunts, nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours, Cas’ remains will be scattered privately at a future date.  Cas was an active member of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he found the most peace, happiness and joy in his later years sharing his faith with his fellow brothers and sisters, especially the young ones.  A Memorial Service will be held on Aug. 5, 2018 at 1 p.m.  It will be held at his local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kennebunk.  Directions can be found on JW.ORG under find a meeting.
