BANGOR — Griffin Watson singled in Jack Romano with the go-ahead run in the 10th inning Monday night and Coastal Landscape went on to a 5-3 victory against Coffee News in the American Legion baseball state tourney at Husson University.

Coastal Landscape is the only unbeaten team in the eight-team double-elimination tournament. Coffee News took its first loss.

Jack Lynch scored on a fielder’s choice by Dylan Francoeur later in the 10th.

Coastal trailed 3-0 early in the game but tied it in the sixth when Watson scored on an error.

YANKEE FORD 7, PASTIME 5: Will Snyder drove in Riley Hasson with a sixth-inning single to put Yankee Ford ahead on the way to a victory in an elimination game at Bangor.

Hasson doubled and drove in two runs, and Snyder and Nolan Brown each added two hits.

Yankee Ford will play another elimination game Tuesday.

BESSEY MOTORS 7, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 6: Hunter LaBossiere singled in Rodney Bean during a three-run first inning, and Bessey Motors held on in an elimination game at Bangor.

Ashton Kennison and Janek Luksza each had two hits and scored twice for Bessey Motors.

Hampden rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh: Brandon Smith hit a two-run double, then scored on a fielder’s choice to make it 7-6, but Gavin Partridge popped out to end it.

REGENCY LEAGUE

SOUTH PORTLAND 11, GORHAM 1: Anthony Poole went 4 for 4 with a triple and an RBI to lead second-seeded South Portland over seventh-seeded Gorham in the quarterfinals at South Portland.

Bradley McMains struck out five over four innings, allowing one run on three hits to win it.

South Portland will play Windham in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Deering Oaks.

BONNY EAGLE 10, BRUNO’S RESTAURANT 6: William Whyte drove in three runs, and Jacob Humphrey and Cameron Phinney each drove in two as fifth-seeded Bonny Eagle beat fourth-seeded Bruno’s Restaurant in the quarterfinals at Portland.

William Barnard and Maxwell Brown each had two hits and an RBI for Bruno’s.

Bonny Eagle will play top-seeded Nova Seafood in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Scarborough.
