THE BRUNSWICK AND MT. ARARAT high school football teams met in a controlled scrimmage on Saturday at Brunswick. Both teams worked on their skills ahead of this upcoming weekend’s preseason action, as the Dragons host Biddeford on Friday (7 p.m.) while the Eagles entertain Gray-New Gloucester on Saturday at the Topsham Fairgrounds (10 a.m.). Brunswick opens its regular season Aug. 31 at home against Falmouth, while Mt. Ararat visits Medomak Valley in its opener on Sept. 1 in Waldoboro. BOB CONN / THE TIMES RECORD
