BIDDEFORD  — Doris Doyon Brady age 92 of Saco, mother and grandmother, passed away on Oct. 12, 2018.

Doris was born on Dec. 17, 1925 in Biddeford, Maine and spent her childhood in Compton, Quebec, Canada with her parents and sisters.

As a teenager she moved back down to Biddeford, Maine. Through mutual friends and their siblings, Doris met the love of her life and future husband Gerald “Jerry” Brady. They married in 1950.

With her husband, Doris settled in Saco and raised twin daughters Pearl Morin and Lynn P. Smith. Doris worked as a book keeper and hostess at the Wonder Bar and later on at Southern Maine Medical Center in the billing department.

Doris was always a caring person taking care of family and loved to garden and spend time with her grandkids. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco and took part in groups like the Red Hats and the Sisters of Isabelle and volunteered her time when she could.

Time with family was a priority for Doris. She often made trips up to Lewiston to visit her sister Mary or down to Massachusetts to visit her sister Laurette. She always made sure to have toys for her grandkids to play with and it was always fun to spend time with her.

Doris is survived by her daughters Lynn P. Smith of Saco and Pearl Morin and her husband Norman Morin of Winterport, Maine; grandchildren Wendy Smith, Charlotte Cromwell and her husband Charles Cromwell, Jackson Smith, Tim Morin and his wife Kelly Morin, Melony Bell and her husband Jon Bell, and Corey Morin; and great-granddaughters Lorelei Cromwell, Kenna Morin, Avelyn Bell and Ayven Bell; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday Oct. 16, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Cote Funeral Home 87 James St. Saco, Maine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Church 271 Main St. Saco, Maine.  Interment will immediately follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
