SACO — Gail R. Eschmann, 70, of Willowhaven St., Saco passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.
She was born in Rochester, New Hampshire on Oct. 26, 1948, the daughter of Herman and Gertrude Cook Horne.
Gail attended local New Hampshire schools, Dover High School and Andover College where she studied to be a Medical Assistant.
She was employed for many years as a CNA at Southridge Rehabilitation in Biddeford.
Gail later worked for Community Partners and Dr. Morse as a receptionist.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing poker card games with her family, watching “The Price is Right,” “Lets Make a Deal” and the “Rifleman.”
Gail is predeceased by: a sister, Pamela Holland; and two brothers, Herbert and Bruce Horn.
Survivors include: her husband of 38 years, Daniel Eschmann of Saco; two sons, Wayne Gregoire of Rochester, New Hampshire, and Edward Gregoire of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Katherine Jacobsky and husband Tony of Windham, and Denise Smith and husband Alvin of Brewer; a brother, Harold Horne of Lee, New Hampshire, and Kathy Archambeault of Rochester, New Hampshire; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco, on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Merle Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.
