After the Jan. 14 fire at the Westbrook Community Center forced a temporary closure of the Food Pantry, many people and organizations offered help.

The Sagamore Village and Stroudwater Christian Church food pantries, for example, opened their doors to Westbrook residents. The Good Shepherd Food Bank brought their mobile unit to the parking lot at the Community Center to distribute food on Jan. 22 and 29, offering thousands of dollars worth of food. Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church offered a huge donation from their Festival of Trees. NAPA is now planning a food drive.

These are just a few examples of the tremendous support that the Westbrook Food Pantry receives.

Thanks to everyone who helps.
