WELLS  —The following individuals were arrested or issued a summons by Wells Police between Feb. 20 and Feb. 25:

• Edward Dubaniewcz, 43, of North Berwick, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence following a traffic stop on North Berwick Road. He was able to post the required bail amount and was later released from Wells Police custody. Dubaniewcz is scheduled to appear at York District Court on April 16 to answer the charge.

• Aiden Simpson, 32, of Sanford, was issued a summons for failure to provide motor vehicle accident information following a report of a motor vehicle collision on College Drive. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21 to answer the charge.

• Seth McCall, 19, of Sanford, Maine, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Sanford Road. He is scheduled to appear at York District Court on May 21 to answer the charge.

• Kristen Gearin, 29, of Kennebunk, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence following a traffic stop on Post Road. She was able to post the required bail amount and was later released from Wells Police custody. Gearin is scheduled to appear at York District Court on April 16 to answer the charge.

• Sarah Bednowitz, 26, of Melrose, Massachusetts, was arrested for domestic violence assault following a disturbance at a local residence. She was able to post bail and was later released from Wells Police custody. Bednowitz is scheduled to appear at York District Court on March 19 to answer the charge.

• Benjamin York, 38, of Biddeford, Maine, was issued a summons for theft by receiving stolen property following an investigation that began on June 27, 2018. He is scheduled to appear at York County Superior Court on April 5 to answer the charge.
