NEW HIRES
Nina Thomashow joined Red Jacket Resorts as regional sales account manager.
Thomashow, of Portland, will be based in Portland. She has worked in the group sales industry for several hotel brands including Embassy Suites, Captain Daniel Stone Inn, The Sonesta, the South Portland Sheraton and the Portland Regency Hotel.
BOARD APPOINTMENTS
Girls on the Run-Maine welcomed four new board members. The members will serve three year terms with an option for a second term.
Katie Hawkins, of South Portland, is an associate at Hudson Cook LLP in Portland. She was introduced to Girls on the Run in 2015 when she ran the spring GOTR 5K.
Kim Hendry is senior director of global operations for Wex Corporate Payments. She lives in Falmouth and is an avid runner.
Sara Murphy, of South Portland, is an attorney for Pierce Atwood’s litigation practice group in Portland. She became involved with the organization when her daughter Lucy started the program as a third-grader.
Mariah Mitchell, of Yarmouth, is an associate attorney in Eaton Peabody’s Brunswick and Portland offices. Mitchell previously coached Girls on the Run at Harriet Beecher Stowe School in Brunswick from 2015-2016.
