YARMOUTH — Current Council Chairman Rob Waeldner was re-elected for another three- year term Tuesday.

Waeldner received 703 votes and Randall Bates, a former councilor, was chosen for the second open seat on the town’s governing board. He got 688 votes.

There were two other candidates in the race, both newcomers. Peter Fromuth received 552 votes and Chris Tanguay got 232.

Voters also approved the $26.6 million school budget in a vote of 797 in favor to 326 against. They also chose to keep the budget validation referendum process in place for another three years.

Rob Waeldner was re-elected to serve another three-year term on the Yarmouth Town Council Tuesday.
