STORRS, Conn. — The University of Connecticut has announced students earning academic recognition on the dean’s list for the spring 23019 semester.

To be eligible for the dean’s list, students needed to be registered for at least 12 credits calculable for grade points, received no grade below “C,” including the actual letter grade awarded in any course under the Pass/Fail option, earned at least three times as many grade points as the number of calculable credits recorded by the registrar, and were in at least the upper quartile of their school or college.

Local students achieving this distinction are:

• Bella Tardy of Buxton

• Ameliagh Beaudette of Kennebunk

The University of Connecticut is a public land grant, National Sea Grant and National Space Grant research university in Storrs, Connecticut and was  was founded in 1881.

The primary 4,400-acre campus is in Storrs, Connecticut, about a half hour’s drive from Hartford and 90 minutes from Boston.
