John Chaput

BRUNSWICK – John Chaput, 32, of C Street, died of health complications on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 at his residence.
He was born in Bath on Nov. 23, 1986, a son of Virginia “Ginny” Warren Chaput.
He was employed previously by Bath Brewing Company and currently at Wayfair in Brunswick doing customer service.
He enjoyed Death Metal, playing bass, and spending time with his nephews. Nothing was dearer to him than the family he was born to and the one he had found. He had great admiration for our Veterans that stemmed from both his grandfathers serving and often thanked them for their service in person or on the phone.
He is survived by his mother, Ginny Chaput of Bath; his fiancé, LeAndra Richardson of Brunswick; one sister, Kayla Chaput and her boyfriend, Al Wyman of Bath, three brothers, Bryan Chaput of Bath, James Skarin of Virginia and Jesse Skarin of Florida; stepchildren, Grayson Richardson-Coonce, MacKenzie Richardson and Abel Richardson Grenier; nieces and nephews, Alexander Soto, Salvador Wyman, Georgia Wyman and Brayden Chaput, five other little tribe members; aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Tim Richardson, Jeffrey and Lily-Ann Stevenson, and two other uncles, his two best friends, Pete Driscoll of Bath and Tucker Trybus of Brunswick .
A celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday, November 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Smith-Tobey American Legion.
