What happens to Maine’s wildlife in winter?

Doug Hitchcox, staff naturalist for Maine Audubon, will collaborate with Kennebunk Land Trust to explain the mystery of wildlife winter survival mechanisms. Join the land trust and Maine Audubon for this free virtual event on Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. Hitchcox will discuss species from tiny insects to large mammals, but has a primary focus on birds and research into their winter adaptations.
