The Bridgton town offices will remain closed until April 22 due to a positive case of COVID-19 among town employees, according to a notice posted to the town’s website Monday.

The employee was last present at the offices at 3 Chase St. on April 8, and any members of the public that are deemed to be a “close contact” of that person by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention will be notified.

This is the third time Bridgton town offices have had to shut down due to a COVID-positive employee.

Staff members are working remotely and most services will continue to be provided online. For more information and a list of services, visit bridgtonmaine.org/town-clerk.
