SCARBOROUGH — Last month, the Scarborough Kiwanis club donated more than $1,500 in food and gift cards to help feed those in need in the community.

On March 25, the Scarborough Kiwanis club delivered 45 ham steaks to the Scarborough Schools Food Service department for families who need food assistance. On March 29, the club delivered 75 hams to the Scarborough Food Pantry.
Scarborough Kiwanis was also able to donate $1,100 in Hannaford and Sam’s Club gift cards to the Scarborough Food Pantry and the Scarborough Schools Food Service department to purchase additional food items.
In all, club members contributed $1,562 to these worthy programs.
