Cumberland is changing, as are the wants and needs of our citizens. Young couples are moving into new housing developments and looking to find a voice in the administration of town government, reflecting the needs of their growing families. We need their input and energy to keep our town vibrant as we undergo inevitable change.
Mark Segrist and his wife, Angela, have chosen Cumberland to raise their two children and want to contribute to our community. Mark serves on the Lands & Conservation Commission’s Climate Action Plan Subcommittee and is running for a seat on our Town Council. I appreciate the contribution of our long-serving councilors but believe it is time to balance the makeup of the council to reflect the changing demography of Cumberland.
Mark would be an asset to help Cumberland transition to our future. Please join me in voting for Mark Segrist on June 8.
