The best news out of the decision to create a commission to re-examine, and perhaps amend, the city’s charter is that Cheryl Leeman is stepping forward to once again lend her leadership, guidance and experience to this undertaking.
Cheryl has served multiple terms on our school committee and City Council and as mayor. Her cordial relationships with city managers, fellow elected officials – and particularly with her constituents and neighbors of District 4 – position her, and all of us, for the best representation possible.
