We have seen what anger and passion without experience and an open mind can do to a system and government. We also know what governing without compassion and equity can do. If we are to create a new document that guides how the Portland City Council will govern, you need someone with passion and experience.

In this large field of at-large candidates, it is rare to find someone with both qualities. This is why I am supporting Marpheen Chann. He understands how government works, not what is just wrong with it, and he has the passion and open mind to make it work better for all.

On June 8, I encourage you to join me in electing Marpheen Chann to one of the four at-large Charter Commission seats.
