William Armishaw of Scarborough, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Armishaw was initiated at University of Maine.

Thomas Marshall, of Scarborough, graduated from The University of Tampa on May 8. Marshall graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication, Media, and Culture.

Madison York, of Scarborough, and Trenton Bassingthwaite, of Gorham graduated from Assumption University in Worcester, Mass. on May 9.

Cara Shelton, a freshman Elementary Education major from Scarborough, was named to the spring 2021 dean’s list at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.

More than 450 members of St. Lawrence University’s Class of 2021 earned their degree following the University’s Comncent ceremonies, held Sunday, April 18, at Newell Field House in Canton, New York. Meghan M. Taylor from Scarborough, graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and anthropology. Taylor attended Scarborough High School.

Ethan DeBaker of Gorham has been named to winter 2021 dean’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H.

Chloe Griffin of Scarborough, Emily Murray of Gorham, Jacob DaRosa of Scarborough, Kayla Stickney of Gorham, Kenneth Rothbart of Scarborough, Isabella Dickinson of Scarborough, Hannah Dobecki of Scarborough and Kayla Archambault of Gorham made the winter 2021 president’s list at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, N.H.

Joseph Gramuglia of Gorham earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Maryland Global Campus in Alelphi, MD.

Joshua DaRosa, of Scarborough, as honored at Union College’s annual Prize Day celebration. Students were honored for achievement in academics, research, service and governance. DaRosa, a member of the Class of 2022, was honored with the William E. Lasnik (1968) Prize, to a junior or senior premedical student on the basis of scholarship and character at the Schenectady, N.Y. college.

Narissa Libby, a Gorham resident, received an Academic Book Award in athletic training from from Lasell University in Newton, Mass.

Lasell University  in Newton, Mass., has been accepted into the National College Athlete Honor Society as the Massachusetts Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, which recognizes student-athletes from accredited four-year NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, and USCAA institutions who excel in both the classroom and competition. Gorham local Narissa Libby was inducted this spring.

Cedarville University student Bethany Sholl of Scarborough, majoring in Nursing, was named to the dean’s honor list for spring 2021 at the Cedarville Ohio university.
