CoverME.gov is linking Mainers to the health coverage they need.

Mainers have options when looking for affordable health care coverage. They can also access help to sort through those options and enroll in coverage available at CoverME.gov. In fact, thousands of Mainers have already enrolled in coverage.

CoverME.gov has a “compare plans” tool that can help you determine what level of coverage is best for you. It also helps you see if your doctor and preferred hospital are in-network and if your prescription drugs are covered. You can use the Get Help page to connect with someone in your area who can help you explore plans and enroll in coverage.

If you need coverage, don’t wait. While you have until Jan. 15 to enroll in a plan, you should enroll by Dec. 15 for coverage to start Jan. 1.

Mainers can also call Maine’s free, confidential Consumer Assistance Program HelpLine at (800) 965-7476. The HelpLine provides access to trained assisters who can help callers understand their options and enroll in coverage.
