I am taken aback by One City Center’s banishing all Portland High School students from eating in its food court. How is it fair, not to mention legal, to penalize blameless individuals and the businesses they want to patronize because some PHS students behaved badly?
It seems One City Center should banish offending individuals when they misbehave rather than broadly punish a class of citizens. Can you imagine if they banned all adults based on the behavior of some individuals in that population? Or all minorities?
Discrimination against teens is not acceptable.
