You missed a numerically interesting opportunity in the Press Herald on Feb. 22. It was symmetrical – 2-22-22 – one of the very few in anyone’s lifetime.

I ignore my birth date, but for those who consider such dates important, maybe 2-22-22 was significant.

There will be no 3-33-33, so the next symmetrical date (ignoring the century year) will be 1-11-11, almost 90 years from now (88 years and 344 days away).

To include the century year, 2-22-2222 is 200 years away. I’m around 97, so I may skip 1-11-2111, 2-22-2222, and those between.
