The list of reasons to go this Sea Dogs game is huge! First off, they’re battling the Somerset Patriots, the Double-A club of the dreaded New York Yankees. Secondly, it’s Marvel Night, meaning players will be wearing special Iron Man jerseys, and Captain Marvel will be there. In fact, you’re encouraged to come dressed as your favorite Marvel hero. Lastly, stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks display. Nothing says summer like baseball, and the season will be over before you know it.
City At Your Feet Scavenger Hunt

Portland Trails wants you to explore the city in a fun and different way through its City At Your Feet Scavenger Hunt. No cars allowed on this foot-, pedal- and bus-powered adventure during which you’ll have two sets of clues to choose from over the course of the weekend. Put together a team of two to six people and get ready to snap pics of your finds. You’ll start at Portland Gear Hub,where you’ll be issued a map, clue sheet, Portland Trails buff and a pre-loaded Metro pass with four rides on it. Happy scavenging!
Brunswick in Bloom Garden Tour

Spend part of your Saturday afternoon touring a dozen lovely, creative gardens in Brunswick. It’s a self-guided tour, so you can go at your own pace and stop and smell as many flowers as you’d like while also taking photos to inspire your own yard. Proceeds from Brunswick in Bloom benefit Oasis Free Clinic, which provides free medical and dental services to residents of Brunswick, Harpswell, Freeport, Durham and Sagadahoc County.
‘The Croods: A New Age’

Sunset by the ocean, followed by a film? Make that a reality for you and especially any kids you know. Get yourself to Bug Light Park early to find parking and then set up headquarters on a sweet patch of lawn with blankets and chairs. Bring a picnic or hit a food truck and then settle in for a screening of the animated adventure comedy “The Croods: A New Age.” The main character, caveman Grug Crood, is voiced by none other than Nicolas Cage, and Emma Stone plays his daughter, Eep.
