How is it that Maine voters who care about girls’ and women’s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, continue to support Sen. Susan Collins? And how is it that our esteemed independent Sen. King endorsed Sen. Collins in 2014?
Anyone who is even moderately informed could have predicted the overturning of Roe v. Wade, even Sen. King. There is no chance that Sen. Collins did not know what was going to happen – her fealty is to the Republican Party and Catholicism.
For years and years, Maine has failed to elect a real Democratic senator. Is this because Maine women wanted to lose their personhood and the right to make their own decisions?
