Nomination papers to run for public office in the Nov. 8 election are now available in Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough and South Portland.

Cape Elizabeth

Two seats are available on both the Town Council and School Board.

Councilors Caitlin Jordan and Penelope Jordan have terms expiring this December, while the terms of School Board members Kimberly Carr and Philip Saucier also expire in December.

Scarborough

Two seats with three-year terms are available on the Town Council, seats now held by April Sither and Ken Johnson, whose terms expire in December.

Three available seats are available on the Board of Education. Two are now held by Alicia Giftos and Kristen Turner, whose three-year terms expire this year, and the third, with a term expiring in 2023, was left vacant with Leanne Kazilionis’ resignation.

South Portland

Two at-large seats on the City Council are up for grabs, with Councilor Katie Bruzgo resigning earlier this year and Councilor Susan Henderson’s term ending in December. Both seats are for three-year terms.

School Board Districts 1 and 2 have seats that need filling, each for three-year terms. District 4 will vote to fill a seat with a term expiring in December 2024 that was vacated in March with Andrea Levinsky’s resignation from the board.
