We are writing to share our excited endorsement of Steve Moriarty for state representative. Steve is running for reelection to represent Cumberland, Long Island and Chebeague Island.
Steve supports abortion rights, which must be strongly considered as we vote this year, given the Supreme Court’s reversal of abortion rights. We need to send supporters of women’s reproductive rights to the Maine Legislature, to protect our rights.
He is also a strong supporter of our schools. He has fought to get the state to fully fund its share of public education, and he shows up for our community, from attending local school board meetings and Town Council meetings, to volunteering for the Historical Society and Food Pantry.
Steve has been a positive, proactive and kind public servant for Cumberland. We need him in Augusta. Vote with us in November: Send Steve Moriarty back to the Maine House.
